The Dal\u00ed Theatre-Museum<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n

The Dal\u00ed Theatre-Museum consists of three clearly differentiated museum areas offering the visitors an unguided and personal route across \u00a0the various galleries. The various collections of the Gala-Salvador Dal\u00ed Foundation include all types of works of art: paintings, drawings, sculptures, engravings, installations, holograms, stereoscopes, photography, etc. Among them \u00a01,500 works are \u00a0exhibited \u00a0at the Dal\u00ed Theatre-Museum of Figueres.\u00a0The Dal\u00ed Theatre-Museum is home to \u00a0a wide spectrum of works that recounts \u00a0the artistic trajectory of the Empord\u00e0 county artist, ranging from his first artistic experiences (impressionism, futurism, cubism, etc.) and his surrealist creations, to \u00a0the last years of his life. Aside from Salvador Dal\u00ed’s works, there are \u00a0works by other artists that \u00a0the painter invited \u00a0to be exhibited \u00a0in \u00a0his museum. Since \u00a0Salvador Dal\u00ed death in 1989, the crypt where he is buried \u00a0can also be visited at the centre of the museum. This area was remodeled in 1997 to exhibit a collection of gold jewels designed by the artist.<\/p>\n
